This policy supports the Dalkia Customer Charter, the Dalkia & Veolia Environnement Sustainable Development Charters and aims to ensure, so far as is reasonably practical, that HSQE risks are well managed and our duty of care is fully discharged.

Dalkia plc is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health through the provision of adequate resources to maintain effective legal compliance and support continual improvement in all HSQE activities. This shall be achieved by:

Meeting all legislative and other requirements, and where no legislation exists, aspiring to influence and work with customers and stakeholders in developing and implementing best practice.

Compliance with the Dalkia Integrated Management System, alongside an ethos of continuous improvement that can meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Establishing objectives and targets at different levels of the business which are measured, monitored and reviewed to ensure their aims are being met.

Protecting the environment, by monitoring and improving technical installation efficiency, reducing energy usage thereby reducing harmful emissions and preventing pollution wherever practicable.

Providing relevant employees adequate training to ensure risk is appropriately managed.

Working with suppliers and sub contractors to deliver consistently high standards of service in all business, health, safety and environmental activities within Dalkia.

Maintain effective communication to all stakeholders on all issues of health, safety, environmental and quality management.

 

Auditing processes, sites and offices to determine the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System, implementing effective corrective and preventive action where identified.

Dalkia plc will conduct management review at least annually to ensure the efficient and effective operation of this policy in order to enhance the Company's health, safety, and environmental and quality management. The Policy will also be reviewed whenever necessary to reflect legislative change.
